Looked for a prominent quality Teakwood scent for a long time. This is the best you can get. SHL777 black gemstone is also excellent but it’s more for the artistic niche tastes. This is mass appealing, clean, smooth, and woody. Lovely scent all around and a great performer both projection and longevity. Very pleased to have found this gem.

There is a good reason why this cologne is a five-star scent. If like me you prefer the woody, sweet scents more so than citrusy, this is for you. While there is a hint of citrus to help calm the sweet scent, this fragrance sits far more towards the sweet side, which is what I prefer.
As with the Bourbon Vanilla and Black Amber colognes Mistral offers, this Teak Wood scent is glorious and sets the tone for a wonderful amber, vanilla, musk, and Patchouli fragrance. Teak Wood sits on top of each of these as a rich and warm scent without being a super forestry scent like pine or spruce (both of which I love).
This is truly a fragrance for men.
What I truly like about this scent is that it is not artsy-fartsy like so many overly priced fragrances attempt to be. Teak Wood is a classic, ageless, fantastic scent that wears well.
This is not a fragrance that can be smelled five feet away. It stays close to the skin and lasts for many hours.

Found Mistral TEAKWOOD at a local store that sells fancy oil, vinegar and French things....and got it for my husband's Birthday. He LOVES it and so do eye. Such a masculine scent but rugged and sweet (just like my hubby). Thank you so much for making this wonderful product!

We stumbled on Mistral brand at our friend's luxury European Goods boutique (shout out to Fourchette in Clinton, NJ and to Brahim and Meredith the owners). My husband likes buying gourmet cheeses and fresh pressed Italian oils AND getting pampered by trying the latest scents from Mistral. We both LOVE the teakwood! It's so masculine and yet so sweet. I’m enjoying this cologne and have gotten some very nice compliments. The scent is lasting, but not overpowering. In my opinion it starts off somewhat sweet smelling, but as the day goes on becomes more grounded and masculine.
