Great in the desert., 6.4.2010

I personally love this new cream and think it is better than the old one. Yes, the cream is less sticky but I like the fact that it absorbs faster. My hands feel soft and silky--even in the desert heat. And it still has 20% shea butter. I think they actually improved it.

I totally agree with CL from New York. I ordered and expected the same, and noticed the difference right away. Comparing with my old 99.5% used tube, there is a difference in texture and even in the scent....both better in my old tube.... With the olive oil. It was perfect before. Please change it back again.

This evening I purchased a tube of lavender-scented hand cream and was looking forward to the relief my chapped hands would feel when I put it on. I noted the new packaging, but assumed that the ingredients would be the same. The moment I applied the cream, I felt the change. Something was different. The cream doesn�t feel as effective. Surprised, I checked the new packaging against an old, almost-depleted tube I still had. Perhaps the reason the newly reformulated cream doesn�t feel as effective is that there is no longer any olive oil in it. (There used to be 20%.) Mistral is a great brand. If the company felt the need to update the packaging design, fine (though an argument could be made that the old design didn�t really need a facelift) � but don�t change the cream itself. It was wonderful just the way it was.

This cream is rich and smooth, perfect for hands and feet. It leaves hands and feet soft and smooth, especially with regular use. It took care of my dry skin fairly quickly, so that my hand is soft pretty much all the time now. I like the scent, it is natural and not overpowering. Also it doesn't attract bugs when you're outdoors, like some perfumed products do. Mistral products are great in general, and this is one of my favorites.
